About

GraphLife is a web site about my experiences in collecting autograph and sports memorabilia.  It’s mostly a blog detailing my recent acquisitions, but at some point I will add some photos of specific collections and other cool stuff.  I’ve been collecting for several years, so for starters my blog will just deal with what I’ve done since early ’08.  It’s not all-encompassing, but it’s a pretty good representation of my successes.  Enjoy looking around and thanks for taking the time to visit!

From a personal standpoint, I have always loved sports.  I can remember my dad taking me see the woeful Braves at Fulton County Stadium.  As bad as they were, I came to love the Braves and I carry their wins and losses on my sleeve to this day.  My other passion as a sports fan is my beloved Georgia Bulldogs.  There’s nothing quite like college football in the South!

Like any kid, I loved trying to get autographs of my favorite players down by the dugout before the game.  However, it wasn’t until I was in my mid-20’s that I really developed an interest in collecting.  One day I went to Turner Field for an afternoon game and remembered hearing a rumor that you could get autographs down by the player’s parking lot.  I went and I picked up a few autographs that day and things haven’t been the same since!

Well, collecting may be my hobby, but my one true love is my family.  We live at the foot of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee where I’m a CPA and my wife is a photographer.  God has blessed us with two amazing children and we spend a great deal of time just trying to be the best parents we can be.
